Orbit3D is flat-priced with 0% commission and unlimited products on paid plans. Zakeke and Kickflip take a cut of each configured sale. Angle 3D does not.
We checked each vendor's own pages on 8 September 2026 and again on 22 September 2026. Where a vendor's pages disagree with each other, we say so. Where a competitor is good, we say that too. If we have something wrong, tell us and we will fix it and re-date it.

Zakeke: Zakeke's own help centre (updated 1 September 2025) lists 1.9 / 1.8 / 1.7%. The Shopify listing is what Shopify bills against, so that is what we quote. Their public pricing page redirects into their admin app.
Angle 3D: Well liked (5.0 stars, 93 reviews on 8 September 2026) and honestly priced. The closest thing to Orbit3D on the App Store.

Zakeke
What Zakeke does well
It works. Most merchants who come to us from a commission configurator are on Zakeke, and their listing describes shoppers customising live with text, images, colours and fonts (22 September 2026).
Where Orbit3D differs
The fee. Zakeke charges 1.9%, 1.7% or 1.5% of every configured item, with no cap on plans activated since 7 November 2022, and it is charged even when the order is cancelled or never paid. Zakeke's own example: a $3,000 item carries a $57.00 fee, where the old cap would have held it to $15.00. Then the product caps: 10, 50 or 100. And no export of a setup, so leaving means rebuilding. Orbit3D charges 0%, has no product cap on paid plans, and our team does the rebuild for you.
How the move worksKickflip
What Kickflip does well
One plan, one price, unlimited products, and they are straight about being 2D. Their July 2023 article says "for most other cases, a 2D product configurator such as Kickflip is more than adequate." For plenty of products, that is true. Their homepage does not mention 3D at all (22 September 2026).
Where Orbit3D differs
Orbit3D is 3D. The shopper turns the product and the model itself changes, not a flat picture. And the fee: Kickflip's "1.95% to 0%" ladder is real, but its brackets are monthly and marginal, and the first bracket runs to $100,000 a month. That is $1.2 million a year in configured sales before the rate drops at all. For almost every store it is a flat 1.95%. Orbit3D is 0%. One more thing: their February 2026 article puts a 3D model at $5,000 to $15,000 per product. That number is why Vera exists.

What Angle 3D does well
Flat pricing from $39 to $199, no commission, no per-view charge, unlimited views, and a 5.0-star rating on the App Store (93 reviews on 8 September 2026). Shopify-only, like us. They are the closest thing to Orbit3D on the App Store. If you are choosing between us, that is the right comparison to be making.
Where Orbit3D differs
Two things. First, you bring the 3D model and you set it up yourself; their FAQ says so plainly. Orbit3D sets up by conversation, our team can do it for you, and if you have no model, Vera makes one. Second, product caps: 10, 40, 100 or 500. Orbit3D has none on paid plans. At the top end they are cheaper, $199 to our $399, and different things are in the box: theirs is 500 products; ours is animated 3D modelled and rigged with you, plus a priority onboarding call.

Mimeeq is enterprise software, not a Shopify app in the same sense. $599 to $2,499 a month plus onboarding from $599, no commission, metered on sessions rather than sales (Core includes 5,000 a month; a session is each time a shopper opens the configurator until they close it, add to cart or leave the page). AI Studio credits on every plan. If you are a large manufacturer with a sales team, look at them. If you run a Shopify store, the table above is your comparison. Checked 8 and 22 September 2026.
