What are AI credits?
AI credits are what the Setup Assistant uses when it works for you: building a configurator from your description, changing options, adjusting prices. Each conversation spends some. Your published configurators spend none. A shopper turning the product, picking a colour and buying it costs you nothing beyond your plan. Paid plans renew their credits every month. The Free plan's 250 credits are one-time.
Why credits, not caps
Why don't we cap your products?
Most configurator apps sell you a product count. Zakeke allows 10, 50 or 100 products depending on the plan. Angle 3D allows 10, 40, 100 or 500. Pass the number and you pay for the next tier, whether or not you sell more. (Both checked 8 September 2026.)
That axis punishes the wrong people. A merchant with one complicated product and two thousand combinations sits on the cheapest tier. A merchant with a deep catalogue and simple options gets pushed to the top. Neither costs us more to run.
What does cost us something is the assistant's work. So that is what the plans meter. Configure one product or four hundred on Starter; the price is $29. When the assistant has built a lot for you in a month, you move up. When it has not, you stay put.
Kickflip, to be fair, has no product cap either. It charges 1.95% of every sale instead.

At $250,000 a year, Zakeke Starter costs you $4,425 more than Orbit3D Growth.
Competitor rates checked 2026-09-22 from Zakeke's Shopify listing and fee article, and from Kickflip's pricing page (re-checked 2026-09-22). Zakeke's fee is charged per item, is uncapped on plans activated since 7 November 2022, and is charged on cancelled orders too. Kickflip's rate only steps down above $100,000 of configured sales in a single month, so for most stores it stays at 1.95%. Orbit3D takes 0% on every plan. This is arithmetic, not a quote. It assumes every dollar you enter went through the configurator, and it leaves out nothing on our side: Orbit3D's plan price is the whole price. Your own rate depends on the plan you are on. We update the rates when the sources change; the date above tells you when we last looked.

Leaving a commission configurator? We collect your 3D files and your options, rebuild the setup on Orbit3D and hand it over for approval. Nothing is imported automatically. A person does it, and your store keeps selling while we work.

No 3D file? Vera is MK-Way's AI 3D designer. She turns your product photos and flat files into a configurable 3D model, cut into the parts shoppers choose, ready for Orbit3D. She runs a 3D design department, not a modelling queue.

How long is the trial?
7 days on every paid plan. The Free plan has no trial because it has no end: build and preview for as long as you like. Publishing to your live store needs a paid plan.
What are AI credits, and what happens when I run out?
Credits are what the Setup Assistant uses when it builds or edits a configurator for you. Starter includes 1,250 a month, Growth 5,000, Enterprise 12,000. The Free plan includes 250, once. If you run out, your published configurators keep working and shoppers keep buying. The assistant waits until your credits renew or you move up a plan.
Can I publish on the Free plan?
No. The Free plan is for building and previewing one product with up to 5 options per group. To put a configurator on your live product page, pick Starter, Growth or Enterprise.
Which currency will my shoppers see?
Your store's. Orbit3D respects your store currency on every publish, so the price on the page, in the cart and at checkout is in the currency your store already uses.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time. Change or cancel your plan inside Orbit3D and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Uninstall the app and access ends at once.
Do you take a percentage of my sales?
No. Not on any plan, not on any order. The price on this page is the whole price.
