What Orbit3D does, and what it does not do yet.

Ribbon

Turn it, zoom in, tap a part. Colours, materials and parts, changed in front of them.

Tap any part and that part's options open, so nobody hunts through a menu for the ribbon. Choose a felt, a leather, a wood, or swap one part for another, and the 3D changes as they choose. Every paid plan; textures from Growth.

One model, every size, in real units.

You upload one 3D file. The shopper picks a size and the product resizes live, in real units, instead of you paying for a model per size. Growth and Enterprise.

They type a name and it appears where it will be engraved. They upload a logo or a photo and it lands on the part you allow.

A price that moves with every choice.

Every option carries its price. The total changes as they build, so there is nothing to explain at the cart. And the cart charges exactly that number.

What you get on your side of the counter.

The Setup Assistant: talk, review, approve.

Describe your product and its choices in a conversation, in your own language. The assistant reads your 3D file, builds the options and the prices, and shows you the result. Nothing publishes until you click approve.

Your 3D file, checked before shoppers see it.

Leftover parts, placeholder materials, names that will not work as options. The check finds them before you publish and tells you what to fix.

Files stored in your own Shopify Files.

Upload a 3D file and it lands in your store's own Files. You can see it there, and it stays yours.

Build one, copy it to the rest.

When one configurator is right, copy it onto other products. Change what differs and approve. No product cap on paid plans, so the copy button never runs out.

Signed prices and a tamper check.

Our server prices each configuration and signs it. Checkout verifies the signature. A second, independent check refuses any line with a price your store did not sign.

Orders your team can read.

A configured product arrives on the order as one line, with every choice listed in plain words: the part, the option, the value. Whoever makes it can work from the order without decoding anything.

The options report.

See which choices shoppers actually order, including the values nobody has ever bought, so you can cut them or price them differently. Not on the Free plan.

Your store's currency, every time.

Prices publish in your store's currency. Nothing to convert, nothing to double-check.

products on every paid plan. Every paid plan covers every product in your store.

What Orbit3D does not do yet.

We would rather you read this here than found it out after installing. Everything below is true as of the date at the bottom of this list. When something changes, this list changes.

A short list, kept honest. If something you need is on it, tell us on a call. That is how the roadmap gets its order.

Book a call

No room view. Shoppers cannot place the product in their own room through their phone camera.
No PDF quotes. We decided against them.
One line per configured product at checkout, with every choice listed on it. Each part does not appear as its own line with its own picture. That is on the roadmap. We do not promise dates.
No picture of the shopper's design on the order.
Shoppers see English. You can hold the setup conversation in your own language. The app screens, the help pages and the configurator text your shoppers see are in English.
No custom CSS or HTML.
No shopper tracking. No sessions, no heatmaps, no pixels from us. That is deliberate. Your shoppers are yours.
One store per plan.
No merchant or agency API today.
No automatic import from Zakeke or any other configurator. Premium Migration is our team rebuilding your setup by hand, then handing it to you to approve.
Shopify only.
One order carries up to 26 different configured items, in any quantity of each. A 27th is refused before it reaches the cart, because past that point Shopify would stop applying configured prices to the whole cart. We would rather refuse one item than undercharge for all of them.
